Can a caregiver come with my parent to the doctor?
Yes. Accompaniment to medical appointments is one of our core services. Let us know about upcoming appointments when you schedule care.
Can a caregiver escort my parent to shul?
Yes. We escort clients to shul and other worship services and community events, and we schedule around Shabbat and holidays.
Do your caregivers help with bathing, dressing or medications?
No. Simcha Home Care provides non-medical companion and homemaker services only. Our caregivers don't provide hands-on personal care such as bathing, dressing, help with eating or toileting, lifting or transfers, or giving medications. If your loved one needs that kind of help, we're glad to work alongside a licensed home health provider.
